Ultra-Strong Polycarbonate Construction We love using polycarbonate for windshields because it’s extremely strong and super lightweight. This 1/4” polycarbonate sheet is twenty-five times stronger than acrylic and 250 times stronger than glass! That kind of strength means you’ll never have to worry about how well this windshield will hold up against even the roughest rides.
Optional XR Optic Hard Coating A polycarbonate windshield by itself is pretty dang impressive, but if you really want to kick it up a notch, why not throw in some scratch resistance? Our proprietary XR Optic Hard Coating gets applied to both sides of this windshield to give you maximum scratch and abrasion resistance. It also protects against UV rays, so you don’t have to worry about accumulating sun spots or yellowing over time.
