Upgrade Your Tread
Equip your compatible Garmin Tread™ with Group Ride Radio to get powerful functionality that your GPS can’t pull off alone—or replace the Group Ride Radio you destroyed somewhere along the trail. You’ll be able to track and talk to up to 20 other riders at the same time. It’ll make your next off-road adventure with the crew less like herding cats and more like a pack of lions on the hunt.
Stay Connected Even Miles Apart
The Group Ride Radio helps you stay connected no matter what the trail throws at you. It has a range of up to 2 miles, so even if your buds “accidentally” leave you eating their dust, you’ll be able to find their location and rendezvous. It’s water resistant too, so you don’t have to worry about crossing creek beds or standard trail mud (but maybe avoid scuba diving).
Two Different Mic Options
You’ve got two options when you’re using this radio: the included hand mic or a hands-free Bluetooth connection. The hand mic has great sound and a retro, ham-radio-esque look that makes you look like you mean business. If you’ve already got a helmet with a Bluetooth headset, you can use the Tread app on your phone to connect it to your Garmin. That way you can use the Bluetooth connection instead of the hand mic.
