CAN-AM DEFENDER HD9 RACKBOSS 2.0 RACK AND PINION
Take Back Control with RackBoss 2.0
When you push your Defender to the limits like we do, it's no surprise that your steering takes a beating. Upgrade your steering by installing SuperATV's Can-Am Defender HD9 RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion. It will help you keep control even on the toughest terrains. Our design ensures that you get the most durable and resilient rack out there. How? We've incorporated our patented X24 Tech dual-bushing design that reduces wear by over 50% compared to stock.
Dual-Bushing Design for the Win
What sets RackBoss 2.0 apart from the rest? We've engineered it with X24 Tech—our durable PTFE bushing at both ends of the rack that removes play from the internals. This saves the tension spring, making it nearly motionless. With almost no internal movement, the rack can dominate harsh terrain with big tires and lifts. It’ll take hard hits without wearing down. Plus, our clever design includes a built-in grease fitting, so you can clean out your rack after you've been in the mud and water all day.
Swaged Tube Tie Rods
Our swaged tube tie rods are super sturdy but lightweight. The 7/8” diameter tubing flares out to boost its strength even more and comes paired with tougher tie rod ends. They have huge 16 mm rack threads and 14 mm rod threads that are the toughest you can get. This kit will keep you in control.
Solid Steel Bar Tie Rods
You want to make sure you have a tie rod that can withstand how you ride—our solid steel bar tie rods are the way way to go. They're made with 1" diameter steel bars. And they’re paired with bigger and better 3/4" outer heim joint tie rod ends. That’s not all—they also have adjustable inner tie rod ends that use 3/4" rod threads and 16 mm rack threads. We’ve built them for hard rides and can handle heavy hits.
Billet Aluminum Hex Tie Rods
Our billet aluminum hex tie rods are the obvious choice for ultimate strength, style, and low-weight performance. With their tough polished billet construction, these tie rods offer long-lasting durability. They’re paired with oversized 3/4" tie rod ends that use 16 mm rack threads—they’re the toughest tie rod ends around. Your massive Defender HD9 and tackle the toughest rides and turn heads with you go with hex aluminum tie rods.
